Our peace is valuable and precious, and the enemy wants nothing more than to rob us of that. The reason that many of us don't have peace is because we won't allow ourselves to identify with it. Instead, we go around carrying an identification card with anxiety, depression, and anger written on it. The card is a fake because it does not identify who or what we are in God.
We allow the enemy to come in like a thief and steal our peace right from under us and then take it for hostage. "But a shout of joy comes in the morning." Psalm 30:5. When joy comes through the door it's not to steal from us but to rescue our peace for us.
